About Me

Hi! Welcome to my website, I’m Isha Kawosa, and here are a few things about me. I'm a Computer Science student at Texas A&M University, working towards my Bachelor of Science degree with a minor in Bioinformatics. Throughout my academic journey, I've had the opportunity to be on the Dean's Honor Roll and receive the Distinguished Student Award. I'm also a member of the Society of Women Engineers, where I aim to contribute positively to our STEM community. My coursework has provided me with a strong foundation in computer science, covering topics like Data Structures and Algorithms, Program Design and Concepts, and Machine Learning. I'm passionate about applying technology to solve real-world problems. I have experience with various programming languages such as C++, Python, Java, and more. I've also worked with data analysis and machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch. Outside of academia, I've gained practical experience through internships, including my role as a BIG-TCR Intern at McWilliams School of Biomedical Informatics in Houston, Texas. I focused on analyzing large-scale single-cell RNA sequencing data, contributing insights to the field of healthcare. As a Mathematics Tutor at the Math Learning Center at Texas A&M University, I've had the privilege of helping my peers excel in their math studies. I've also held leadership roles, such as being the Head of the Team at Cyber Congress, where I organized inter-school competitions and events. I'm eager to utilize my skills and experiences to make a positive impact in the tech industry and beyond. Thank you for taking the time to visit my website, and I'm looking forward to connecting with you!
